Brief
For the feature film Red Dawn, I designed motion graphics for the opening title sequence, establishing the narrative context before the story began. Built around a fast-paced, news-style montage, the sequence depicted the escalating global conflict leading to the invasion of the United States through animated headlines, maps, broadcast imagery, and information-driven graphics. My role encompassed layout design, motion graphics, and editorial pacing, creating an engaging introduction that communicated complex information clearly while building tension from the opening frame.

Crafting the First Impression.
The opening sequence of Red Dawn needed to communicate a rapidly escalating international crisis within a limited amount of screen time. News footage, headlines, maps, and supporting graphics were organized into a clear visual progression, helping audiences understand the events leading to the invasion while establishing the film’s tense and urgent atmosphere.
OPENING TITLE MOTION GRAPHICS
